Collecte de chaussures pour la bonne cause

Lors du « Festival de la Chaussure » au Shopping Center City Concorde à Bertrange, le magasin Jack Wolfskin Store avait organisé une action de bienfaisance au profit de l’association « Stëmm vun der Strooss asbl ». Tous les clients pouvaient ramener des anciennes chaussures en échange d’un bon d’achat. Plus de 100 paires de chaussures pour dames et hommes ont été collectionnées pendant cette semaine au City Concorde. Toutes les chaussures ont été remises à Alexandra Oxacelay de l’association et sont distribuées gratuitement au sein de la « Kleederstuff » aux personnes dans le besoin. L’association «Stëmm vun der Strooss » œuvre en faveur des personnes défavorisées et offre des repas chauds, des vêtements, des soins médicaux, des médicaments et des secours financiers. En 2012 l’association « Stëmm vun der Strooss » a servi 54.225 repas et 12,5 tonnes de denrées alimentaires à ceux qui en ont le plus besoin.
La chargée de Direction, Alexandra Oxacelay a remercié toute l’équipe de Jack Wolfskin de cette bonne initiative.

AM BËSCH restaurant has opened its doors in City Concorde at level -1. AM BËSCH invites diners to a spell of culinary pleasure, a veritable gastronomic escapade in its natural surroundings.
The name “AM BËSCH”, meaning forest in Luxembourgish, is not an accident. By entering the restaurant, one is transposed into a completely different world, from the hustle and bustle of the shopping centre to the tranquillity of a forest.
The woods are ever-present: in the furniture naturally, but also in the accessories, notably the menu, the orange colours that invoke the falling of the leaves in the autumn; and on the walls, broad panels in shades of green, printed forests.
The menu at the AM BËSCH restaurant is homely and fresh while at the same time maintaining high quality and local flavours; food that reminds one of returning from a Sunday walk in the outdoors with the family, but can just as well suit a little break in a day of shopping.
The diverse menu spans local specialities (poultry pies, Duo of ham, Luxembourgish black pudding, …) as well as other brasserie dishes (fish, pasta, salads, …). As with the meat served here, its exceptional quality and its cooking in charcoal oven, make it must-try of the restaurant. Specials of the day, as well as children’s menus are also available.
The wine list, covering various vineyards, is lively and evolving as it should be, depending on the dishes and on the season. Waiters at AM BËSCH are at the diners’ service for advice in this regard.

Pack Up 24/24: Pick up your parcels whenever you like!
Pack Up 24/24 is an automatic station with individual compartments that contain the parcels to be picked up. A Pack Up 24/24 station is in operation at City Concorde. The Pack Up 24/24 client is notified by text message and email as soon as his or her parcel has arrived at the Pack up point. With a unique code, the customer can take possession of his/her parcel at his/her most convenience, 24 hours a day.
